Day of Reminders
You and your vendors have access to the venue during your booked time. Arriving early or staying late must be pre-approved and will result in additional venue rental fees of $250 per hour.
Everything you and your vendors bring to the venue must be taken off the premises by the end of your booked time frame (tents are an exception). If you need to arrange for a later pick up of items it must be pre-approved and will result in a pick up fee of $250. This allows you a 2 hour window on the following day to pick up any items left. This option is subject to availability, as we often have events back to back.
Tent rentals do not have to be picked up at the end of your event. We just ask that the tent be taken down within 72 hours of your event, and if we have another event booked within that time frame the tent is subject to the next booked client's use.
No silk petals, glitter or confetti is to be used.
No open flame candles are allowed.
The Holt House staff is not responsible for the setup or breakdown of your decorations. Please make sure you have a team in place that is aware of their responsibility. If you would like to arrange for the Holt House staff to break down your event we would be happy to do so for a $250 fee. This fee will be deducted from your damage deposit if our staff helps with breakdown and it is not prepaid.
Remember to have a plan for your florals after the event. If you have rented items from your florist, please make sure you have designated someone to take those at the end of your event. Tip: let your friends and family know ahead of time if they are welcome to take an arrangement home. If you do not want to keep your florals, please let us know, as we reuse florals for charity events or donate them when possible.
No self service of alcohol.
The Holt House will set up tables and chairs and other pieces of our furniture being used for your event, according to your submitted ceremony and reception layouts. Please do not move furniture on your own.
Overnight Rental Reminders
The Holt House staff cannot leave the premises until all wedding guests have left, except those staying overnight. If the staff needs to stay past your booked event hours, you will be invoiced at the rate of $250 per hour.
A maximum of 8 guests may stay overnight.
Towels and bed linens are provided.
Check in is 4pm unless otherwise arranged.
Check out is at 10am unless otherwise arranged.
